Dutty Lingo was a large scale video installation and live performance at the tate modern, for the launch of the new space "the Tanks" in 2012. The performance was made in colaboration with Barney Doodlebug and Albino Moskito.
In the large cylindrical space that is The Tank, four giant images where projected covering a wide surface of the room. The content of 120 interviews, filmed in Manchester were edited, mixed and overlayerd live creating a large surrounding soundscape and a fully immersive visual experience dwarfing the visitor, in the middle of all those giant faces and talking mouths. The Interview where all portrait of Mancunien citizen, celebrity, artist or just resident talking about the norther city subcultures, music and movements. This intimate depiction of history is the untold stories that made it.
