V&A – Made in Code (with UCL, Happy Finish & Holition)
Real-time Fabric Simulation & Motion-Driven Interaction
For the V&A Museum’s "Made in Code" exhibition, we co-created an immersive, real-time fabric simulation experience in collaboration with UCL and Holition. Using markerless motion capture and Carbon Cloth technology, visitors could interact with digital fabrics and design their own personalised garments — no controllers, no pre-recorded sequences.
The result: a living installation where movement shaped material, and where each visitor received a unique digital garment rendered in real-time and displayed on-site.
This project blended immersive tech, fashion, and public interaction, reimagining how audiences engage with design and storytelling in cultural spaces.
